Women Warriors

In the series “Women Warriors,” Lawrence Ziv gives expression to femininity as a force of creation, survival, and power. The figures are embodied in body and movement – sometimes graceful, sometimes screaming – and move between beauty and power, between vulnerability and strength. The images echo mythological women – from Athena to the Amazons – as symbols of wisdom, courage, and resistance. Through fiery colors, rich textures, and dramatic compositions, Lawrence creates a visual language that is both personal allegory and universal mythology.
