Laurence Ziv × Sasson Kedem

The exhibition presents an inspiring dialogue between two groundbreaking creators: Laurence Ziv – an artist and fashion designer ahead of his time, active in the 1970s and 1980s, and Sasson Kedem – one of Israel’s leading designers, who views fashion as a language of artistic expression.
Here, Kedem offers a contemporary interpretation of Ziv’s historical designs, translating memories, materials, and symbols into a new design language.
It is a meeting of past and present, body and soul – where painting becomes clothing, and clothing becomes art.

Laurence of Judea – The Perfume by Laurence Ziv

Laurence of Judea is a unique fragrance created by artist Laurence Ziv, reflecting his multidisciplinary world and his fascination with the scents of earth, spirit, and local culture. The perfume blends warm, deep notes with gentle freshness, creating a personal signature that feels elegant yet effortless. As in his artistic work, Laurence expresses sensitivity, precision, and a love of detail — an aromatic essence that tells a story of place, identity, and aesthetics.
The fragrance was first launched in Beverly Hills in 1972.

As part of the exhibition, we crafted a renewed interpretation of the perfume together with nose Eviatar Ben David from Toco Aroma. This contemporary blend is diffused throughout the exhibition space as an homage to the original fragrance, allowing visitors to experience Laurence’s world through scent as well.
